AW Parks to remain open
Dear Sailing Club and Fishing Club contact,
Please excuse this general and very impersonal message but I wanted to get a note out to you as soon as I could to update you on the position we are taking in respect of the national lockdown commencing on Thursday 5th November.
I can confirm that our parks will be remaining open for access to the tracks, play parks and nature reserves and we will be providing takeaway services from our cafes.
We will be allowing fishing to continue at our parks in line with the updated Angling Trust Guidelines. Telephone only bookings for bank angling permits please. NO BOATS OUT from Saturday the 7th of November until further notice.
We are encouraging all users to respect the travel restrictions in place alongside the Covid-19 lockdown and ensure that they enact as required and follow any and all necessary Covid-19 safe procedures.
You will appreciate that information and guidance on the interpretation and restrictions applied to the upcoming period of lockdown has been evolving rapidly and consequently I must caveat our stated position with a ‘subject to change’ warning. We are committed to ensuring that we adhere to the law and the spirit of this period of lockdown in the continued pursuance of beating the current pandemic.
Thank you for continuing to respect the rules and conditions in place throughout this Covid-19 year.
Regards
Jake Williams
