Tuesday Evening Boat League
Every Tuesday Evening during Daylights Savings Time, AW hosts a social boat league at each of their waters (Pitsford, Rutland, Grafham etc.). We meet up about 5pm and fish until dusk. This is a great time hook up with a new partner.
MNTFA Social Days
Typically, we arrive at a time that suited, and finished when we had had enough. The highlight of the day though is the “social” element: meeting up to have lunch together and share our successes or otherwise. All meetings are scheduled via our WhatsApp Group.
Members and non-members are welcome to join us. Just book a boat, make sure you have a ticket and turn up when you like at the published location. If you need a boat partner post a message on the club Facebook or WhatsApp Group a few days before.
Competition Fishing
We have a varied competition calendar with 9 events scheduled. These will be on the local AW reservoirs (Pitsford, Rutland, Grafham etc.) All competitions are listed in our calendar. We also enter teams in inter-club events.
Winter Programme
On the 2nd Thursday of November, December, January and February we hold a varied Winter Programme. The speaker’s details will be published here once available. A typical evening involves a speaker from the angling world talking tactics and techniques, answering questions from the audience and often tying a few flies. We also have a raffle and free chips during the break.
