COMPETITIONS
As a club we organise competitions throughout much of the year. We usually start with a bank match on Pitsford in March. We then fish matches around the Anglian Water reservoirs of Pitsford, Ravensthorpe, Grafham and Rutland throughout the year with the last match being a Fur & Feather in November where every entrant leaves with a meat prize.
TUESDAY SOCIAL (Boat)
In 2020 between lockdowns a number of club members took part in social fishing Tuesdays. These were very popular with those who took part. We all arrived independently at a time that suited, and finished when we had had enough. The highlight of the day though was the “social” element: meeting up to have lunch together and share our successes or otherwise.
OUTINGS (Travel)
Once COVID restrictions have been lifted the club hope to coordinate visits to fisheries further afield. If you are interested in being kept informed about any trips please email tourists@mntfa.co.uk with details of which venues you would like to visit. Additional venues can be added to the examples below.
