In 2020 a number of club members took part in social fishing Tuesdays. These become very popular, thus we are continuing with this social.
Typically, we arrive at a time that suited, and finished when we had had enough. The highlight of the day though is the “social” element: meeting up to have lunch together and share our successes or otherwise.
As a rule we’ll stop for lunch by anchoring up in a quiet corner at one of the AW reservoirs and swapping stories, fish locations and sharing or donating successful flies.
Members and non-members are welcome to join us on any Tuesday Social. Just book a boat, make sure you have a ticket and turn up when you like at the published location. If you need a boat partner post a message on the club Facebook page a few days before.
